In this instance, combine 1 cup of jasmine rice with 1.75 cups of water and microwave on high for 15-20 minutes, depending on the strength of your microwave at home. You can also cook it in a rice cooker or an Instant Pot. You can enjoy it simply with garlic, ginger and cilantro or as a base for an Asian dish.
